Q:   What should someone look for when looking to hire a custom builder?
  A:   It’s important to look at:

How many years they have been in business; their credentials and certifications; a list of homes they have previously competed and their portfolio of finished homes; if there is a model home available for viewing; and their financing options.

Q:   In the event that there are changes to the design or unforeseen conditions that result in extra cost, what process do you use to communicate these changes to the owner and designer?
    A:   We normally reline changes on construction drawings for designer changes. We also price change orders and present to the owner for approval before implementing changes.

    A:   Usually 4 to 6 months depending on weather conditions.
